First Class is on Sunday, September 11, 2022, 10:00 am.

      • Have you been worshiping with us, but never officially taken the step to become Catholic?
      • Have you been away from the Church, and have now returned, but want to know more?
      • Have you been a Catholic all your life, but never celebrated all the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist)?
      • Have you joined us from a different background and would like to find out more about the Catholic Church?
      • If you (“or someone you know”) answers YES to any of these questions, you are invited to find out more through process called the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).  It is a journey that begins with your questions.

Inspiration: To serve the faith of the Roman Catholic Church here at St. Matthew’s
He (Jesus) said to them, “Go into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to every person.” (Mark 16-15)
Our Mission: To facilitate Catechumens (un-baptized adults) and Candidates (un-catechized Catholics) into full communion with the Catholic Church.
Our Catechists: We are always looking for dedicated members of St. Matthew’s Parish to share their faith with people interested in Roman Catholicism. We are always in need of sponsors, Catholics who will journey with the interested parties offering their support in faith, and friendship.
Meetings: Sunday from 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM. We will start with mass and then continue with formation.
      FOR MORE INFORMATION

Compassion Fatigue and Resilience: Webinar with Dr. Xavier Cagigas

The events in the past year have tested emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual endurance. Experts refer to the exhaustion and depletion that many have felt as  compassion fatigue. As guidelines continue to change, restrictions lessen, our families and communities are called to transition and adjust once more.  Individuals continue to process grief and trauma from the past year while adapting to a new sense of normalcy. Learn the signs and symptoms of compassion fatigue and how to face each day with resilience and hope.
